This crap is never ending. I must have seen half a dozen of these stupid bloody ads on the box so far and I've only had the TV on a couple of hours today!

What I have to laugh at with those adverts is how it's a 50 and over plan - lumping us (still relatively young) folk in with all the coffin dodgers!!

In reality, with folk generally living much longer now, 50 is feck all. 50 is the new 40, 40 is the new 30, etc. In general, people are living around 10 years longer than they used to, and that fact should be reflected in these daft adverts.

Plus, in all honesty, I feel the same now (in some ways even better), as I did when I was 30, and don't look a heck of a lot different either, so I'm more concerned with enjoying life than planning my fooking funeral!!

"The 65 and over plan", these days, would be more apt!

This one irked me no end.

I put a for sale ad on gumtree for an amp, collection only. Some guy from London rings and says he really wants it and would I consider posting, he says he can't drive and is partially disabled. He was the type that won't take notice of when it's time to end the conversation, every call lasted 30 minutes (there were several calls over the course of 2 or 3 days) while he told me all about his past, semi-famous friends and musical history. I agreed to post it (my fault I know), he wanted an invoice as he has to account for his spending due to being on incapacity benefit, I find a template for Word and email the invoice as requested. I boxed the amp up ready to send as soon as payment comes through, while waiting for payment I get a text from him saying he has decided not to buy it as he now thinks he should buy from ebay where he has paypal buyer protection.

Now I do realise I brought this on myself by agreeing to post, but somehow getting messed about while trying to do something helpful for someone was incredibly annoying.

He needed an invoice because he receives incapacity benefit? That doesn't sound right at all.

Tell the arsewipe that if you send him a paypal invoice for goods (not friends & family) that he still has full paypal protection.
He still won't buy it because he is still an arsewipe (use once & flush)
