Well I've already done 30yrs as a postie, to be fair the first 10/15 were easy, but ,8/9 miles a day is now taking it's toll, may have to retrain so I can sit down for the next 20!!

A mile a day with the dog is enough for me. I could do more, but start not enjoying it, mind you I'll be 69 next week and not quite as fit as I used to be . There again, I cycled five miles each way to and from work until I was 58 and did enjoy that.
It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!

I'm not really complaining about work, quite like it, but surely paying in for 50 years for your State pension is more than enough? All this bollock of living longer, 80% of the blokes I've know friends and family haven't made it to 70!!!

I hate walking but love cycling, just done loads around Weymouth and loved it, electrically assisted of course

If I had a dog again I don't mind walking then

How can you remove "friend request notifications" ? I've tried not accepting it but it makes no difference. No offence USA geezer... I'd reject friend requests from anyone no matter who they are! Didn't seem worth starting a thread to ask this!

No, on here! Received a friend request from a new member from USA who I've never even heard of and has only made 1 post.... I've tried ticking the "do not accept" box etc but can't get rid of the notification which looks like I've got a new PM and so is confusing...
