Why not take a hammer to the junction box, in the wee small hours, and blame it on vandals?

Then when they come back out to fix it, you can ask them 'nicely' to put it somewhere else.....

No communication at all Marco. I've seen other people online trying to get these boxes moved and these were 3 times bigger. it seems Virgin just ignore them

I think you should look into their contractual obligations, in that respect, and find out what Virgin are legally obligated to do, in terms of advising local residents of forthcoming works, especially when things such as large junction boxes are encroaching on your property. Google for it and see what you find.

If it's obvious that they've been negligent in some way, then you may be able to force them to move it. Fight for what's right. Don't just give up and allow the technology bandwagon to simply steamroll over you!

May be worth trying a complaint via Twitter to @virginmedia? Companies are getting much more sensitive to this as it's a very public forum which reflects badly on their reputation and brand.
A mainly digital setup with a musical amplifier and endearing 1970's speakers. A CD player that hardly ever gets used and a turntable that is good enough to remind my how enjoyable my old vinyl is. Some cables and things.

Only in so far as the broad terms of the streetworks license that statutory undertakers must have. It's not necessarily specific about everything.
It is impossible for anything digital to sound analogue, because it isn't analogue!

Perhaps my interpretation of this phrase is too literal then:

"The cabinets are installed only when they have been approved by the Local Authority and we do give them full dimensions for them to consider......"
