Lol... I know; I've been at some of the grounds! There are also some 'quaint' little villages, dotted around, such as Drongan and New Cumnock, populated shall we say, by some rather 'interesting characters'...

No inter-breeding there at all, no sir-eee

I also know Ardrossan rather well, as my best mate lives in Saltcoats, which is virtually joined onto it. You're frowned at there if you're caught wearing a jumper before January!

Hmm. Something to do with soldering irons and bending over might be appropriate.

New Cumnock is the village I go into if I take the wrong exit off the Dettingen roundabout, but regular Cumnock, on Afton Water, is one of the many villages dotted along one of my favourite biking roads form Dumfries to Ayr. Tip: if you come across a chippy called Frankies (might be in Coylton or Sanquhar), avoid their pies, they seem to be deep-fried.

Might I suggest a remote Island where they would only have each other for company. There would be no food , just a hardback copy of "The Cannibal's Cookbook". The last man standing would only have Kanye West played on a continuous loop on a really shit hifi system for company. The choice of hifi system would be voted on - no dictatorship here!

Of course we welcome other suggestions, we're not monsters!

Another Americanism, we say dive and dived, heard it loads of times, dove instead of dived, I'm not talking about a pigeon like bird and it's not pronounced the same either.
