    Well said Martin - I find it a shame that some people don't get the Stones, but I can see why. Seeing them live is a rather special experience, or at least it used to be and you always used to get your moneys worth too - not sure what the heck is going on here though.

    I think there's probably more around that like them than don't, but I'm not sure they deserve to be called $hit

    i've been given all there old albums on 1st pressing mono, and have several later albums and regardless of how many times I listen I just cant get into them. Harsh, yes, but thats how I feel about them, no offence meant to others.

    They did a secret warm up in Paris other night and charged £12 (or was it euros). 02 prices are extraordinary at £300. Do they think all their audience are investment bankers? Come to think of it they probably will be in this case. 1982 tour paid £9 if I remember correctly for Ashton Gate Bristol supported by The J Geils Band.

    Allowing for inflation should be under £50 so someone is making big bucks and it is probably a whole load of organisations as well as The Stones. I must admit if they were playing in Brum I would be tempted even at this money as they are going to get too old to continue sometime soon.
