    Snapper, Del and I are currently enjoying a nice cocktail, called a 'Sorrento Sparkle', which consists of ice-cold Limoncello liqueur, ice-cold Prosecco and frozen lemon sorbet, into which is added some fresh lime:



    ...for extra decadence, since it's New Year's Day, I've also popped in some fresh raspberries... Utterly gorgeous!!

    Turntable: Heavily-modified Technics SL-1210MK5G [Mike New bearing/ETP platter/Paul Hynes SR7 PSU & reg mods]. Funk Firm APM Achromat/Nagaoka GL-601 Crystal Record Weight/Isonoe feet & boots/Ortofon RS-212D/Denon DL-103GL in Denon PCL-300 headshell with Funk Firm Houdini/Kondo SL-115 pure-silver cartridge leads.

    Not been boozing much recently but have just had 4 cans of Guinness and am feeling ,,, 'rosy'

    Interesting how quickly tolerance decreases if you abstain.

    I don't drink in any significant quantity these days. It's a long time since I drank four cans of anything. If I did, I'd be up a couple of times overnight for a piss and have a fuzzy head in the morning. My eight pinter nights down the pub are long behind me.

    I'm going that way. 20 years ago it was 8 cans on a Friday and Saturday night. Strong larger too, Tennant's Extra, Stella or Grolsh. If I tried that now I would probably die.
