More imagination?

Having taken the TV off the wall quite some time ago, and then bringing back in the ubiquitous glass and chrome stand to sit it upon, and the AV stuff as well as the 2ch kit, I finally got something that pleased the wife........and no, not 50 Shades Of Grey! It's an Ikea erm........thing, with doors on, that hides all the kit when not in use.

Anyway, just listening to Jeff Buckley via Spotify, and could it be my imagination, but I seem to be hearing an improvement, mainly mid to top, where there seems to be a smallish step up from before.

Possibly down to non glass shelving? Dunno!

Craig , I discovered years ago that I could ' change ' the sound of my system by changing what I sat it on . I tried marble , glass , wood and MDF . I eventually settled on wood for its' more relaxed sound . ( IMO of course ) . So I don't think it's your imagination .
