I bought a matched set of 4 Shuguang off ebay, shipped from Taiwan, for £25 delivered. Sound ok to me, but you need to allow a couple of weeks for delivery.

I noticed that listing , It shows 1 valve ? but says Quad ?

Think I will send a question

    Also found this listing

    http://www.watfordvalves.com/basket.asp?basid=602188

these are already in the UK so no extras added on for importing / Tax / handling charges etc

For £60 u can get a quad of Electro Harmonix 6CA7's delivered from Hotrox, 6CA7 is a direct replacement for an EL34 and a much better sounding valve, great liquid warm mids like the 34 but better bass and top end! Way more engaging
