Just thought I'd say hello

Can't remember if I found 'The Art of Sound' via Google or more probably from diyaudio.com... I know that I seem to have followed a few guys over here as we're all treading similar paths... Gainclones amps, Shigaclone transports & cheap DAC's!

Have been into diy & tinkering with my hifi for about 25 years, although I haven't even had any form of system over past 6yrs due to personal circumstances. Previously I was heavily into valves but I need something cheaper & smaller now-a-days.

Thanks for the welcome & apologies for the late reply!

As for the Jag, once I realised it's running costs (!!!) it sadly had to go and ended up, through a friend of a friend, in banger racing

Jag.Banger just didn't sound right as a screen-name tho
