    Default Hello from Malcolm

Hi there - finally got to register after lurking on and off for several months.
Just going through the philosophical transition from pure analogue (= vinyl) to the convenience of digital (Arcam ringDAC->Apple TV->Mac Mini...)
Just ordered a Bushmaster in Black - decided not to wait for the undetermined 'visual upgrade' which is the subject of a long and amusing thread ;-P

    Primary System is (currently):
    Analogue 'Bits':
Opus-3 Continuo with Hadcock (VDH Silver) & Musicmaker, Korato Valve Pre (inc Phono) and Class A-B (NOT A/B!) Power Amp.
Magnum Dynalab Tuner, Uher 'Omega' R2R
All comes out through DALI Helcon 400's
    Digital Bits:
Arcam FMJ RingDAC CDP, DAB Tuner, Apple TV-1 (Jailbroken with HDD upgrade)
    Other Stuff (offers considered)
    Thorens TD160 with SME 3009(FH) Nagaoka MP11-B
    Arcam Delta 110, Quad 405, Nikko 350W
    JR149's (x-over mod), Boston Sat/subs early system

Music - GOOD stuff from Bach/Beethoven through early Blues & Django, Beatles, Stones, Mayall, Green, Jackson Browne, Tracy Chapman, Little Feat/Lowell George, Neil Young, Hendrix, Who, Cale, Springsteen, Clash, Jam, etc, etc (you can probably guess my age from all of these) plus some modern stuff. I just check my i-Tunes Folder - 900+ Artists, 150GB.
On vinyl - ~ 500+ albums (need to think about ripping...)

    'nuff said?
