I always thought Trilogy was a great album and really well recorded/produced (but not on Manticore vinyl). When the above APP one came out, I thought it horrible until I later played it and found it was the early 80's Naim/'Brik combo that was spoiling it - it's fine now...

As someone unaware of the difference (as I haven't done the comparison), what is so bad about the Manticore versions?
