    Default Goathland...

I made a trip to Whitby in April of this year and whilst on the way back, stopped off at Goathland for a while and took a few photographs. This is one of them

The photograph was shot using Ilford FP4+ rated at 125 ISO which was then developed in Ilford ID-11 at 1+3 dilution. Scanning was done using an Epson V700 in 24 bit colour to retain as much tonal range as possible.

If I get around to printing my images, they are done by a pro print studio onto a cotton fibre paper for added 'art' factor. I do not use 'plastic' papers as the quality is well below standard.

It is at this moment 17:26 on the 21st May just listening to a broadcast telling how a worker on this railway has been crushed to death between two engines. My deepest sympathies go out to his nearest and dearest.
