    Default WTD: Fisher Price Turntable

I really think that all this emphasis on the SL1210 with multiple mods is something of a red herring. Ok, so I was caught by the flat earth conspiracy method for 21 years with my LP12, but is an over-specced SL1210 going to help? I'm not convinced, so I'm going for a much more elegant solution, with no need for off-board power supplies, no complex machinery, and a brilliant way of limiting my spending on records.

Looking for a Fisher Price Turntable with all 5 records. Excellent condition please.

London bridge is falling down, falling down....

I have one you may be interested in - it is slightly breathed on with the Funk Firm mods and uprated main (plastic) bearing. The plinth has been damped with dried Farley's rusk. I have all 5 records and will clean them on my Moth before shipping. Send me a PM we will talk

    Edit: records are VG+/Excellent
    Current Lash Up:

    TEAC VRDS 701T > Sony TAE1000ESD > Krell KSA50S > JM Labs Focal Electra 926.

There could be bidding war for this one. Is it the all wight one, wight wif yeller or the Pink one. Sounds like the Pink one with FF mods. Condition of nail would help.

You certianly know your Fisher Price, Pete. Yes, it's a Pink, late serial number, needle has some hours on it but nothing a retip by Dom at Northwest Analogue can't sort. If interested I also have a Flinstones Telephone, near mint, some light scratches on the handset, possibly where it has been chewed on. Original packaging. Can sell as a pair if required.

Potential buyers please note: Flinstones Telphone is not suitable for connection to the UK telecoms network.

Know Fisher Price - used to be a HiFi dealer so we had to know everyfink. If it doesn't receive those nuisance PPI calls we get at work, it won't be much good. They are the only people that call some days. Thanks for the offer though.

By the way, I don't know why I put this in 'Trade Impressions'. But I guess only those in the trade really know how to set up an FP properly.

Now, you can call me picky but I don't think this example is running at the correct speed....

Come to think of it I'm not sure if its actually playing the 'record'
Listening in a Foo free Zone...

Perhaps I should have realised these would be thin on the ground in the hi-fi community. Clearly for those who know its a deck for life and not one to let go of easily.
