    Default Good luck everyone!

Down South, we're all having a major retune on Freeview with the Analogue signal being switched off. Decent pictures at last!

Yes, they'll up the transmitting power on the Freeview channels

Never had a problem with it before I stopped watching TV, I'm on the fringe of a few transmitters & it was superb 3 years ago. Big wideband aerial & a masthead amplifier used though

    What a waste

Wait & see - we were switched over in the NW a couple of years ago & there are all sorts of crap problems. Lets hope you have more luck.

I've got a proper wideband aerial and a masthead amplifier. Only think is, we still get crap pictures. I'm hoping things will settle down however, having read TGW's post above, I'm not holding my breath.

Freesat is the way forward IMHO - the picture quality beats Freeview on all fronts, at least it does on my TV (I have both tuners) and the HD is fantastic
