    Lumleys now sold

    Replaced them with this:

    http://www.audio-cinema.co.uk/ekmps/shops/audiocinemaltd/images/primare-i30-reference-dual-mono-fully-balanced-integrated-amplifier-2-x-100w-393-p[ekm]320x300[ekm].jpg

Primare i30 dual mono integrated. Seems to have plenty of wallop and is very neutral although I'd say it lacks the overall presence and transparency of the Lumleys.

Paul, getting rid of those Lumley's might come back to haunt you one day, if i had the readies they would've been mine in jig time.

You're right wii. I regret very much parting with them but have stock bills to pay, and needed to increase cash flow reserves. I have first dibs on buying them back which hopefully I will do some day in the future. I've really yet to hear them bettered this side of a £5K valve amp. However, the Primare does have its strengths too. It helps underline that realism and transparency are generally missed over outright scale and bass performance though.

    The new amplifier:

11 watts of pure Class A push-pull...2A3 output valves. Sublime sounding amp...very pleased with it.

You'll have to pop over for a listen Jerry. I think you'll like/approve of the sound that these partnered with the Agi's make...
