I reckon that they'd be pretty good!

A nice pair of 12" MGs alone, with original crossovers, is worth between £1.3-1.8k, and the design of the cabs looks rather interesting. Defo worth a punt for anyone looking to own some nice vintage speakers

    Orbitus?

    - DSDL Neil should remember this as an "Orbinauto Obedioslave," one of the little universal maintenance robots made by the Daleks for general use in confined spaces where their cases won't go

Never ever seen Tannoys like this one though

The Orbitus. One wonders what was in the pipe when someone thought a Tannoy DC should be mounted firing upward in order to produce an "omnidirectional" speaker. I saw a pair of them back in Ottawa just before I left. I didn't think $1000 was a reasonable cost, as they had HPDs rather than Golds.

Thats what i thought must be upward firing to let the sound out of those slots

Chances are though, they will probably need a re-cone. Upward facing drivers are great dust bowls.
