My favourite album by a long way is 'Comments Of The Inner Chorus'

I will give it another go and report back nonetheless
I knew when I saw this thread you would have said this!

I like this album, 'comments of the inner chorus' and 'good arrows' are possibly better albums, but this is much easier to get on with!
It's the loosing of that funny way of putting vocals quite wide in te soundstage that I sometimes can't get on with in the earlier albums!...
It's doesn't ruin them by any stretch, it's just a bit off putting if your in the wrong mood!

I gave it another listen - and without realising it, agree that it doesn't hold your attention if you get distracted (although what does?) - Still not decided - I like it - but quibbling between 6 , 7 & 8 at the mo...

7, in the end - "not too bad at all" - I will probably get a copy if I can find one cheap enough, and enjoyed it enough to want to check out their earlier work, so thanks for introducing this one to us Simon.

Very a happy to oblige. not a classic but something new and quite pleasant. Not sure my Godflesh rec over on the Wam had the same positive outcomes as this one

Okay, I'll fez up. I've got this album but I'm not sure why.
It's okay but I think this probably sums up my feelings about Tunng......

Single spur balanced Mains. Self built music server with 3 seperate linear PSU, Intel i5, 16 GB RAM no hard drive (various Linux OS). Benchmark Dac2 HGC, single ended XLR interconnects/Belkin cable. Exposure 21RC Pre, Super 18 Power (recap & modified). Modded World Audio HD83 HP amp. Hand built Monitors with external crossovers , Volt 250 bass & ABR, Scanspeak 13M8621 Mid & Scanspeak D2905/9300 Hi. HD595 & Beyer 880 (600 ohm) cans.

The whole problem with the world is that fools and fanatics are always so certain of themselves, and wiser people so full of doubts.

Yep - I like it. So I've given it 8 out of 10 and will be checking out their other stuff too.
