A bouncy floor is no place for a bouncy turntable.

Nothing wrong with a bouncy turntable...? Come to think of it there is nothing wrong with any type of turntable...

You might be better off using a wall shelf- I have a "sprung" lp12 and wooden floor boards and wouldn't go back to putting it on a rack on the floor now that it's on a wall shelf.

That's a shame. I have an LP12 with a wooden floor and a wall shelf is a must.

Precisely why I said 'a bouncy floor is no place for a buncy turntable'. Get one going and all Hell is let loose and that has been true of the majority of bouncy TT's I have used.

A solid TT lets you hear the footfall but doesn't go into spasms.
