    I'm Gary.

Default Repair of Brothers 1210 TT's South of London area?

My Bruv has a couple of 1210's in need of repair. He was a DJ and SERIOUSLY misses his mixing.

He lives down in Chichester and I wonder if any of you guys knows anyone near that area (or even within sensible travel area) that can fix them.

    TT1:
Not exactly sure what the problem is but I think its the "pivot point" on the arm that is broken. He reckons he might need a new arm for it but is wondering if it is worth (or can be) repaired.

    TT2:
Just needs a new headshell I think.
Can probably do this himself, any local dealers to him that can supply it?

    Thanks very much.
    Gaz.

    I'm Jason.

I've an arm (standard) that I'd be happy to sell him. It's the entire unit including the base (so with VTA adjuster). In good condition. PM me if he's interested and I'll work out a price - likely to be around £75.

Headshells are easily sourced and fitting is a 2 minute job.

Before you criticise a man, walk a mile in his shoes. Then, when you do - you'll be a mile away. And have his shoes.

Wavy grooves go thru a RigB 540ML on an SL1500C. Digits stream from a cheapie CDP and a Sonos, into a Yamaha 803D driving Kralk Audio little 'uns. I used to have a Linn but I'm better now.
