I'm John.
Mine is tracking at 1.8gr and VTA level on a medium/standard thickness vinyl. Give it a bit of time. Mine started to improve around 10 hour mark and fully come to life after around 100 hours. I was not impressed initially, but after three months now, no regrets. It's a great all rounder.

I have an SL Wood running via an Oyaide headshell & Jelco 750D Arm. I have not yet fully tuned the little beastie, so will be watching this thread with interest. I have it set at 1.75g (assuming my stylus force gauge to be accurate) and I am happy with that.
