    I did all the restoration work myself. All resistors are Takman or Kiwame with all Russian PIO's, JJ lytics and decent quality RCA,s and Speaker Posts. The chassis were in good condition but each one was stripped to component form for cleaning.

    The mono mod is just two short jumper wires that are soldered to the tag board so can be removed in seconds. Running as a pair really opened up the soundstage and extended the bass.

    They are very simple to work on, but prices are rocketing at the moment

    So one Leak 20 just not enough eh !

    Seriously, marvellous stuff, I have (just the !) one myself but would love to try a a pair as you have. Not ruled it out for the future. I appreciate what you say about increasing prices for these but I still think these amps. are a snip in terms of good old vfm.

    Anyway, lovely.

    Really nice work Val, i sold my Gold one last year and really missed it, i have been running a Grey one recently on loan to me that has been fully rebuilt, they do sound nice i love El 84's, see here for pics

    I had a ST 20 as my main amp for Years, Great Music maker and very reliable,
    If the Radford wasn't about I would still be using it, Great Amp
