    Default A&R amp

    Hi all,

I bought this A&R Cambridge a few weeks ago, slotted it into my system with surprisingly good results listening to cd and my Duet digital streaming.

I've temporarily unplugged my (refurbished) Quad 11's as I am enjoying this old classic, at a cost of £25 (inc postage) it's a no brainer, happy man!

Nice amp for the price Peter, If you have unplugged the quad 11s it must be good.

Why should it NOT be a good product? I mean, marco et al have been banging on about how little we've come in the decades since ot was made

This was, I believe, the last product to be designed by Chris Evans before he departed Arcam for NAD International and then Myryad and you chaps should notice a sort-of family resembance to this amp from the very-late 80's NAD amps/CD Players and especially the Myryad MI-120, which is everything this Alpha and it's Dad, the A60 could have evolved into being
