    Default Jabo horns?

Anyone here has experience of the Jabo horns made in Germany?

I am most likely going to update the xo's of my Altec/Onken speakers first but as idea of new horns as a reference to my original Altec H-811B cast aluminium ones intrigues me as well as later some diy option, the Jabo KH-55 model might be one solution to try on my way..

They would fit the system nicely also by the looks of the pis below found from internet

They look very interesting, Mika, but I'm afraid I don't know anything about them. Good luck on whatever you decide

i don't know what drivers you plan to use but i've heard these horns with JBL 2451 fitted with truextent be diaphragms and despite a need for an 1.5"->2" adapter it's truly a great sound - even in a real nearfield situation (under 2m from them) they integrate wonderfully, no beaming, no any horn nastiness one can experience with lesser designs. i was really caught by surprise as they are simple exponential profiles and these days other profiles gets more prominence and exposure. could be also it's a perfect synergy between horn and driver - which matters more than a horn itself - but KH-55 is high on my personal list.

Hmm, I guess forgot the update here

Anyway have had those Jabo horns in my system for some time now and they're really good. I'm using Altec 806A 16 ohm driver and despite of the needed adapter there are no signs of unwanted coloration or beaming. Here is a pic of the setup..
