Went to see 'The Musical Box' a few weeks ago at Cardiff.
They were brilliant, a 'Tribute' band to the Gabriel era Genesis sells them short. This Canadian collection of musicians 'recreate' the concerts from that era with such accuracy and verve.
They've been touring the 'Selling England by the Pound' tour from 1973 and they were fantastic.............so fantastic that Fiona and I went to Bath three days later to see them again (a 250 mile round trip)!
I think that it's wonderful that we can relive these classic concerts - fortunately, I saw the very same concert with Genesis in 1973 at Bristol, many in the audience had never seen the original gigs.
Essential experience for all true blue early Genesis fans.

Common sense isn't anymore!
While most of the Glasgow rock crowd headed to see Black Sabbath at the Hydro, decided to catch local bands The Toi / The King Lot and US rockers Tyketto in the intimate O2 ABC2 venue. Good turn out considering and good sets played by all three bands.

Saw Sabbaths final gig at the Genting arena Brum on Saturday night. Absolutely amazing from start to finish, if this was their final show they really went out at the top.

I'm Simon.
Saw Drive by Truckers last Wednesday at the Ritz in Manchester, very very good apart from the puncture on the motorway on the way home along with about ten other cars on the hard shoulder who had hit the same pothole.
Slayer. In a small venue. My ears were ringing for two days.
Loreena McKennitt @ The Sage. Gateshead 12/03/17
What a superb venue! Great intimate performance, Just Loreena, with Caroline Lavelle on Cello and Brian Hughes on guitars.
If you appreciate Loreena you'll know what a rare chance it is to get to see her. Very much rooted in her earlier material.
Only downside is that she did tend to ramble on a bit with the song intros in the first half.
Looks like she's 4 tracks or so into a new album due next year.
Before the concert was sat outside the "Slug" under the Tyne Bridge. Huge smile on my face. No Fog!

Elbow at DeMontfort Hall in Leicester last night.
I like Guy Garvey's voice, and he can write some nice lyrics.
7/10 for me.
