My, she has quite a style!
Shame you don't know the piece - familiarity would have given you a greater sense of how fabulous her performance is!

    Marco - Corrette.

My goodness, one of my favourite baroque composers - I hereby bestow honourary non-Frenchness on him

Very pleasant early morning listening - from a French audiophile recording company. Lovely music and sound!

    Note: Schobert, not Schubert.

Been looking for a recording of Takemitsu solo guitar music and, after auditioning a few recordings on Apple Music, settled on this CD:

Not complete, but very pleased with the choice so far. Recording is much 'closer' than others I listed too, but I think that's what I was looking for.

Any other Takemitsu recordings others would recommend..?

I'll have this year's go with that geetar album.
So, no, I can't help with any reccies of my own!

Thank you Jerry for Randall Thompson. it's a bit much for me on a Sunday morning, but not a composer I know and I will check out some of his choral music at another time, which he seems to be particularly known for.

It's the 23rd Sunday after Trinity in the Lutheran calendar and so I go for the Bach cantatas composed for this day: BWV 163: Nur jedem das Seine, BWV 139: Wohl dem, der sich auf seinen Gott and BWV 52: Falsche Welt, dir trau ich nicht!

Sunday morning is more solo guitar time for me so, catching up on a Kim suggestion ...

    OK so far.
Not exactly setting my world alight, but pleasant enough.

    5 minutes.
That's all I could take of Takemitsu guitar noodling.

Ah, this is more like it. Came across the album last night, and enjoying it again this morning ...
