Linn K20 speaker cable.
Found this in the Shed. God knows how they got there
They are Linn K20 speaker cables, just one long length of it (Not sure how long?). One end have rusty banana plugs, the other end just wire.
Sadly I'm no good with the soldering iron. I fancy trying these cables and will keep them as back up cables. Anyone here that can cut these cables in half and resolder them with some new decent banana plugs for me? Willing to pay to have this done.

Exactly. I don't believe Linn even made their own cables, bought in standard offerings from a cable manufacturer like everyone else.
The look to have a decent number of strands so they'll prolly be fine with some better connectors.
Single spur balanced Mains. Self built music server with 3 seperate linear PSU, Intel i5, 16 GB RAM no hard drive (various Linux OS). Benchmark Dac2 HGC, single ended XLR interconnects/Belkin cable. Exposure 21RC Pre, Super 18 Power (recap & modified). Modded World Audio HD83 HP amp. Hand built Monitors with external crossovers , Volt 250 bass & ABR, Scanspeak 13M8621 Mid & Scanspeak D2905/9300 Hi. HD595 & Beyer 880 (600 ohm) cans.

And I wondered for a couple of years why our dems sounded so muffled, relatively speaking. We swapped the K20 for Naim A5 and the transformation was incredible.. All a long time ago, but the memories stuck I'm afraid..Originally Posted by southall-1998
