It works very well with Quad systems, I had an all Quad 77 system, 77 preamp with x 2 power amps, which used to power some 22L speakers, i used to bi-amp the 22l's with QED and it produced a very nice sound. I have several friends which are classically trained pianist's that also commented on the fact that it trumped cable's costing silly money. But, we all have our own views.
