I loaned Brian my seg and was using my emergency frenchie in my av set up-couldnt get the seg back quick enough!!!

If you want it quickly you can pay $30 for FedEx and that was quite quick TBH.
There's also DAC-02A which is no good for nobheads. not sure what the difference is apart from that but I haven't analysed it, so not surprising. And DAC-03A which has ELNA caps (good sounding caps from experience) and 192K. But Firebottle doesn't rate the valve output in that one, if I have him right.

I have 1 spare WE and 1 Sylvania Gold Brand valves for the Xiang going spare but the snag is they aren't cheap. PM me if interested. I'd need to check but I think they came to around £35 each after import taxes etc.
Or just wait til I tell you which is best

5670 valves (for the DAC-01A)
- I have RCA, Raytheon, Tesla
I've a feeling I sold my unit with my favoured valve in it - I shall have to check back in this thread to see if I can identify what it was!
In fact I have 2 Raytheon - must have come as a pair.
So if you want to try one, Grant, I can pop it in the post.
Mind you, in my system I preferred the solid state output.
