Actually, this is rather interesting. It's a modern incarnation of the classic John Linsley Hood class A amp design.

I'd expected it to be a bit laid back and soft sounding, in keeping with my general experience of class A trannies - but no, this is exciting and vibrant.
For the record, as it were, Class A has no sound of it's own... Any "characteristic" one may have heard from class A amps is nothing to do with it being class A
