Yes, it's an Airlink.
500VA.
My amp is 120W max consumption, my DAC/pre about 40W, so should be well within the unit's capability.
It could probably supply my big Pass amp as well, that maxes out at 600W consumption but I don't get anywhere near that!
I'm sure a bigger one would be even better, but this was a cheap way (eBay!) to have a play.

Jerry
I was wondering which cables took over from your Atratus 3s?
Cheers Bill

Ahhhh, Thanks for that Jerry, I was looking at models elsewhere as I need a fair bit more horsepower than yours, a nice size if your requirements are catered for

I got it used on eBay, and the grille is different to current models so I suspect it is a previous gen model.

Paul(f-2007) kindly gifted me a pair of Mullard ecc81.
They arrived today.
I have to now confess that I am not usually a big fan of Mullard valves, oft referring to them as Dullards.
But, my goodness, you never can tell.
shock horror
quelle surprise
The Mullard ecc81 are supa dupa in LAddy (aka LA Audio A-30) - my gosh. Focused and dynamic. Superb rez.
Hoodathunkit? Not me.
Easily the best sound I have so far got out of the little el84 amp. Luvverly.
Not Dullard at all.
Thanks Paul.

Maybe you are thinking of ECC83's, '81's are completely different animals.
Glad they are really working for you
