    mr c kindly made me a battery 12 v trigger . is there anywhere that sells mains versions as batts only last a fortnight ?
    i need to switch my amps off using it prior to getting a possible valve amp

    You just need a small mains powered 12Vdc supply. maplin or similar will sell them and it will only need to be low current to power the relay coil.

    Belkin sold a mains block that has it built in. I bought one from Costco a few months back.
