The transformer for the filaments is a custom made Amplimo.
I mounted this Yamamoto-style meaning making use of tonewood...in his case he uses cherrywood.

Nice as always Erik.
Buy Bose...And get your parking validated!.

No Highs...No Lows....It Must Be Bose!
That's either an enormous tube socket or you have tiny hands!
Analogue: Technics SL1210 M5G, AN Arm One/II, Blue Angel Mantis MC
Amps: Devialet 200
Speakers: Usher Mini 2 Dancer DMD
Cables: Supra, Mark Grant, Reference Fidelity
DIY System Audiosector Gainclone, Salas DCB1, AudioSector MC Phono stage
You are right a bayonet fitting is used to twist the tube in place....with this socket you press the tube in place ...the bayonet pin on the tube and the teflon vertical opening prevents it to make a wrong connection.
Still on topic the watch is a Sea Dweller Deepsea (James Cameron) which is also proof that the wrist and hand is above average...making the 211 socket really big......

Today I mounted the Mundorf Mlytics 4 pins
I marked them since they are a bit tricky to connect with In + and In - and Out + and Out -
Despite being a testboard it starts to get the real look of an Amp by now

Today I mounted the OPT's
I do hope the quality of sound from them is better than their grey coating...even touching with paper leaves marks behind.....and this despite the fact that the Japanese are known for their skillful coating...
Anyway I was going to sandpaper the lot and spraypainting it black so no big deal...but disapointing to say the least considering the price of those things.

Very impressive, Super well done.
Source: Heavily modified DDDAC using MacBook Pro.
Amplification: Pre amp-Stereo Coffee pre amp on steroids.
Power amp- Rather large Colin Wonfor Class A power Amp
Speakers: Lampizator P17 Open Baffles
Accessories: Klotz 500 DIY Interconnects & DIY speaker cable sounding better than anything commercial.
All powered from a Mother Trucker BPS with a dedicated consumer unit with 10mm armoured radial back to the house tails after the meter.
Thanks
I made an alu support bracket to support the top platform and in order to mount some (experimental) stuff.
It is becoming a heavy beast already.....I noticed that I am building the breadboard as if it is not at all experimental...lol....meaning if I scratch the wood I am disapointed...I know...pretty sick...
Btw the black patch is just a piece of misplaced carton to fool around with (transformersize)

Today I made a few hardware additions in order to make life easier later on with experiments.
I repaced the wheels for feet...so much better.
I made another alu support bracket for mounting stuff and support the heavy trafos.
Besides a few fuseholders I also made a heavy duty wooden cocobola block with brass pin mountings for my
hook-up wire etc.
