I made my own laser board and guidance rod with non magnetic materials...okay it took me 10 hours filing but substantial improvement soundwise
And mounting it....
Building a layer underneath the transport support to get room for all the additional electronics...

Getting the laserboard and spindle with motor mass coupled and loose from the electronics....
Ditching the standard heavy magnetic puck in change for a nice featherlight Delrin screw-on puck including a platform to damp the spindle...
That is how I want it....

Experimenting with blue light in order to get the laser a proper reading environment....
Giving it a board with all the possible hook-ups....I use AT&T from the PiTbull towards the Genesis Digital Lens...again with dedicated PSU and super reg.
It is quickly getting a 2 box operation now....

The dramatic puck change resulted in a far better flow of music...
Starting to build a dedicated pedestal for the transport...heavy ebony support to hold the many trafo suporting encasing and the transport with electronics..
