Default Help- psu needs new caps

    Hi

My sp10 power supply needs new caps (it has been te cause of some weird problems with the deck but with the help of someone in the know the caps have been diagnosed as the problem). Thing is I have never soldered before and I understand that it might be expensive to take to a dealer to do.

So i live in fife but happy to travel- is there anyone who could help me out with the soldering in exchange for a bottle or two of of something. I'm keen to learn how to donut myself so would also see it as a learning opportunity...I would of course supply the materials once I know what is needed. Also happy to travel if needs be.

    Thanks

    Mike

Ali lives in Dunfermline, my old toon, and is a dab DIYer. Maybe he can help.
