    Is this pre amp any good, its on ebay, but i dont know how to do a link

    Hi Paul,

    Just go to the page where you've seen the Dynaco on Ebay, then copy the link (it'll start with 'http'), from the address bar on your browser, by right-clicking on your mouse and highlighting it, then paste the address onto the reply box here (by right-clicking on your mouse)

    I tried to find the Dynaco you mentioned, but only got some instruction manuals....

    However, Dynaco are a vintage American brand. Their equipment is quite highly rated, and not usually stupidly priced like some Audio Research or McIntosh kit can be. If it's cheap enough and in good nick, it should be a sound buy

    Preamps: Heavily-modified Croft Charisma-X. LDR Stereo Coffee. Power Amps: Tube Distinctions Copper Amp fitted with Tungsol KT-150s. Quad 306.

    Cables & Sundries: Mark Grant HDX1 interconnects and digital coaxial cable, plus Mark Grant 6mm UP-LCOFC Van Damme speaker cable. MCRU 'Ultimate' mains leads. Lehmann clone headphone amp with vintage Koss PRO-4AAA headphones.

    Tube Distinctions digital noise filter. VPI HW16.5 record cleaning machine.

    Speakers: Tannoy 15MGs in Lockwood cabinets with modified crossovers. 1967 Celestion Ditton 15.

    I contacted the seller and it is 240v and its also factory built, I probably wont buy it but its a beaut, also did a completed listings search and it seems on the expensive side

    Judging by the rat's nest inside, it doesn't look like a 'factory' build to me.
