    Not quite sure I see the point of having a Landrover of any sort if you’re just going to use it as a shopping trolly let alone a V8 petrol.

    Landrovers, the proper ones, not the poser variety are basically tractors, that’s what they do best

    I know, I know.....

    In my defence, it did rescue quite a few people from the snow last year in the Hampshire village in which I live, and you can get big speakers in the back of it easily!

    i've been involved in rescuing and collecting a rare 3 cylinder engine for our engine club today, 8.5 tons with all its electrical gear, 66kva output no less , by fcuk the parts are heavy, piston/conrods must go 150kgs each, cylinder heads around 200 kgs each, a lot of manual lifting to get these smaller bits out of their resting places and onto my truck/trailer involved, i came in bent double like a geriatric tonight, the old feller we are getting it from is a hoader of all things mechical, whilst locating bits for the above i found a 86 inch series one landy under a sheet, unfortuanately its completly shagged and beyond sensable restoration, my heart raced and then sank all within about a minute
