I've actually been a member for some time (ooh eerrr) but have only just got around to checking in. Mainly due to massive house renovations over the last 4 months, causing near breakdown!

My name is Mike and the prozac has been put to bed. Just splashing paint about now.
I have to say, my system is probably a bit 'budget' compared to some folks here but I'm in the middle of upgrading stuff, and hoping 'her indoors' doesn't notice having blown 30k on renovating. Hi-Fi kit isn't top of her priorities.
But at Present I have a Marantz PM8200 amp - Cyrus CDXT Transport with a Micromega Duo2 DAC, I've just picked up a Pro-Ject RPM-5 Turntable on ebay(Not even tried it yet- still painting). I'm in the market for a new amp and have been read lots of good stuff about Cambridge Audio Azur 840A V2 but have my eye on a couple of pieces on ebay - Musical Fidelity etc. Oh, It goes through a pair of Quad L21 speakers.
So not exactly top end but a nice sounding set up with pretty good components.
Any thoughts on the Cambridge amp?
Must go and paint the front door!
