Yup - fit and forget. Using an SPU was the best decision I ever made with regards to vinyl playback. No more fretting about tracking alignment. Simply enjoy your records :)

It's a bit of a faff isn't it. I think I'll have a go at filling the stands (half way, 2/3rds?) and see where I end up.
I'll live with it for a few weeks and then swap back to the way it was and...

Thanks for the tip guys. I'll have a go at the weekend. I've got some Sticky Stuff remover that should do the trick.I'm wary of damaging the speaker as it's of more value than the stands. Thing is...
Hmm - it's a thought. I suppose I'd have to put some form of damping inside the void
I wanted to buy some stands for my Tannoys for a while. Naturally I measured the the top of the speaker to see what dimension the top plate of the stand should be. I took the plinth off easily so I...

Surely that why it should be suitably packaged for roughhouse eventualities. This isn't even a padded envelope - just 2 flimsy pieces of cardboard taped together. It's like the seller just gave up on...
This is definitely FFS! - how can anyone with 98.9% with over 1000 seller ratings on Discogs send an LP like this?

Just been 'listening' to Max Richter's 'Sleep' broadcast on Radio 3. 8 hours without interruption! I often have the radio on very quietly all night and this was wonderful just drifting in and out and...
