No, I'm pretty sure it isn't.
former council estate near where I used to work had some houses with doors together and some with doors apart, even though it was all built at the same time (1950s).
Great amplifiers and speakers - going to be a killer system I think.
Yep, and if you want it extra loud they've provided a garage to convert into a dedicated room as well.
Although I suppose the landlord might have an issue with that.
I have been in the smallest house but I was about four at the time so it didn't actually seem that small to me and I wondered what all the fuss was about.
I also bought - or got bought a - 'Lego'...
Rain, hail, sleet, gales, thunder, lightning - and then a bit of sunshine in the late afternoon.
Properly chilly too. No warmer than it was in January.
£995/month round here gets you this

In a good area too, not in the ghetto like where I live.
Studio flats are around £450/month for a tidy one.
Hail again, right now.

Great system!
Huge clap of thunder to start the day, followed by hail battering the windows. For a second I thought a plane had crashed nearby.

Imagine being reduced to staying in a Hilton. I mean it's barely above sleeping in a cardboard box under a flyover.
Next week looks rubbish. Colder and windy with some rain especially for tomorrow.
Looks like we have to wait until May for some dry, sunny weather and even then it won't be very warm.

Fagan reckoned it could be the ugliest album cover of the 1970s - although he admitted there was stiff competition from 'Can't Buy A...
My favourite Doors album by a mile, although first one is good too.
Indeed. Not as annoying as them taking down all the back issues of Stereophile. Hi-Fi News also got taken down.
Happily I'd already read them all :) but they were useful for reference purposes....

Really sunny here but the wind is chilly.
Winter not really fully released its grip round here yet.

Copy of Stereophile arrived but they sent me the December 2022 issue by mistake.
Can see how it happened as the covers of both issues are very similar in colour. I'm told June will be sent this...
The electrical signal from the cartridge is at a very low voltage ( with MM about 5 millivolts) so it is more affected by noise (mostly RFI) between the deck and the phono stage (which will amplify...
Seen Hawkwind live back in '88 (supported by Osirics) but don't have any of their records.
Suppose I should sort that out.
Got this on right now. 'There's an aeroplane up in the sky.'

I think 'quality' is the wrong term.
It's a deliberate decision taken when remastering classic recordings to reduce the dynamic range to next to nothing.
It's not due to incompetence,...
