Yeah the 12yr plus Irish whiskies do tend to be a bit pricey, not helped by the exchange rate. The advantage of being in Dublin is at least you can sample it in the pub(when they reopen) before...

I've got an Alphason HR100s tonearm I purchased as least a couple years ago which I still haven't mounted on my turntable.
Still using the Mission 774 which to be honest I only purchased a few...

Interesting Grant that the Tyrconnell looks like it only double distilled, I always assume that Irish whiskeys are Tripple Distilled.

I believe Bushmills are the oldest Irish distillery. I quite like Bkack Bush which is the next step up in there non age stated blended range.

It's a good whiskey for €30 a bottle.
