I remember them from a sampler I got in the late 80s it was called the Nimbus Sound or something. They used a special technique to capture the ambience of a hall but I wasn't keen on it at the time...
The C series were good speakers they used the same drivers as the Reference series but just not as tightly matched.
Worth noting the low frequency doesn't look too good, Kef always measure theirs...
I'd rather see them in a small venue than the proper Pink Floyd in a large venue. Can't stand big gigs.
I prefer listening to the CD than going to a stadium gig.
I went to see Iron Maiden (my...
Streaming gets a bad name at least partly because people are trying it with older dacs with early built in USB converters. The CD player goes straight to SPDIF using the coax and doesn't have that...
As opposed to Stockhausen whose work is largely unlistenable.
There is also "quality" ambient music not to be confused with the dross you often hear in massage parlours and the like (I mean the...
I found it helped with some components but not others. I changed my speakers to MA Studio 20SEs and preferred it without. As I think they are keepers I decided to sell the buffer. Famous last words...

Nice Chinese valve buffer, comes with NOS Mullard, Siemens, GEC, National and Russian military (OTK) pairs for plenty of valve rolling and tuning to a particular sound. It also has the original...
