Tidal have a good offer going if that helps: https://www.whathifi.com/news/get-four-months-of-any-tidal-plan-for-just-pound4-with-this-streaming-deal-of-the-year
I see that Qobuz has reduced its Hi-Res 'Studio Premier' sub to £14.99, in line with Amazon.
Edit: The offer ends at the end of May.
+1
Tidal streamed via UPnP has better sound and is generally a nicer experience than Amazon Music over Airplay.
And Linn Kazoo can do the job, working fine on my Macbook.

Look in particular at 'Player Setup and Configuration'.
It's a while since I used Volumio but I don't remember having that problem on the version I was then using. If you have no particular reason for sticking with Volumio you could try Moode, which will...
The short answer is that Volumio will handle MQA files if you have an MQA-enabled USB DAC.
The longer answer is this thread: https://forum.volumio.org/mqa-t10205.html
Well, I'm a Weiss/Barto fan too as it happens, and when I search in 'Unlimited' on the Amazon Music Player (not the web player) on my Macbook I find all 11 volumes of this wonderful stuff, plus the...

The offer is for new subscribers only, so presumably you are not considered to be in that category.
EDIT: OK, Edward got there first!
Just to illustrate the perversity of the Search: A search for 'Anton Reicha' turns up 4 albums, whereas searching for 'Reicha' brings over 60 albums of music by Anton Reicha!
I listen mostly to classical and I think the catalogue is pretty good but the search function isn't great.
I think it's a very recent development, Alex.
I'm listening now, streaming over Airplay to RPi/Katana with Moode and I have to say the sound quality is impressive. I haven't been a great fan of...
Amazon is now offering a free trial of lossless audio.
Is this just for USB devices, or will it also be of benefit to HAT DACs attached via I2S?
Have you tried plugging the power USB into a separate 5v supply?
This could be even superber, if that's a word. We'll just need an exchange rate miracle: https://www.oktoresearch.com/dac8stereo.htm
Volumio have a new streamer on the way: https://volumio.org/epic-journey-called-volumio-motivo/
EDIT: I see it's already been flagged up earlier in the thread.
Why do you want to convert? I thought Volumio could play ALAC files?
You may be jumping the gun a bit. Which image file exactly did you load? The Moode version that's compatible with RPi4 hasn't been released yet, and the situation may be the same with the other...
I haven't got the isolator but my guess is that it would be OK.
The 'powering up routine' is no longer necessary with the current version of Katana. I power everything up together and it work fine.
The figure of 10us probably relates to the perception of inter-aural time differences, which enable us to locate sounds. Obviously this is important because if the sound system can't resolve at that...
Just have it plugged in to your Pi when you boot up. Should be as simple as that, (though I've never used that particular adapter).
