AVI Neutrons are nice speakers. They work well with Myriad electronics and Musical Fidelity A3, A5 series (not so much the more recent offerings from that point forwards)

I know the previous version well, the EX. They work well with valves, if the amp is about 50 watts + and has good driving ability. These need breathing space to work properly.

Better hdmi cant improve digital broadcast artefacts ( blockiness is that) but it can let more detail shine through on good hd picture. I use audioquest pearl hdmi cables
