Ultimate expression of 'Alfa' to me is this:

Based on an 8C, probably the most gorgeous thing on 4 wheels in my humble opinion. :)
Oh nooooooo, now as much as I love Alfas, I HATE that!!
Looks too much like a Jap 'hairdresser's car', or something a Botox'd bimbo would drive... I like brutal/purposeful/MANLY looking cars. Dat's a poncemobile! :D
I prefer yours, or even better, the Alfa Sprint Geoff posted, which is a classic, and simply lovely in every way.
If we're talking new, then this is more like it:

Look at that gorgeous front... You can almost SEE it SNARLING at you....!! :eyebrows:

Plus, it's also (almost) practical, unlike that thing you posted...! ;)
Marco.
better with one of these.....

Trust me these things are gona take off one day:lol:
Lol... WTF is it?
Is that a potty at the front for turning your poop into fertiliser? :eyebrows:
Marco.
lol.. its Cugnot's "fardier a vapeur" from the 70's.....the 1770's lol. first car
Well the current Jag XJs may look seriously boring, and the one I had at £62K+ for a good few days I didn't even like the interior of, but I can tell you the car is awesome. On the motorway it is just awesome. Trans-continental machine of the highest order. Seriously comfortable, effortless, quiet and fast enough.
Also massive plus was the Meridan in-car system. Very, very, very good. I don't like Meridian much as a brand but that in-car system was brilliant.
Gazjam's Alfa is a lot better than your selection Marco. Look again. You surely need an eye test.;)
Hahaha... Lol! Just a matter of different tastes, mate. What Gaz posted is too 'nice' looking for me. I prefer it more BRUTAL!
Unless we're talking about something *really* special (on the level of a Lambo), I'm not big on 2-door sports cars. Much prefer a nice big, badass 4-door sport saloon/tourer, which gets others and me abroad in comfort, and with a boot I can bring some wine back in!! :ner:
The exception would be a 911, especially the Singer ones linked to earlier, as they're just so sexy, it's untrue.
Yup, I'm with you on the Jag's engine and how it drives (the report on Top Gear confirmed what you've said), but for £70K, it'd need to tick ALL the right boxes for me, not just some of them, and any aspect of "seriously boring" simply wouldn't be considered!!
I don't DO boring - EVER.
Apart from it driving like a demon, if just looking at a car of that cost doesn't make me want to tug on my middle leg, then it's a no-no.... :nono:
Marco.
