FS Audionote E + stands
An earlier pair of Audionote Es in a very dark wood finish, black fronts and grilles complete with recent AN stands in exc condition and filled to be extremely heavy.
Drivers are in superb condition, the cabinets have age marks & swirls (minor)and have two marks in the front right edge of one speaker - see photos. These could be tidied quite effectively with minimal effort.
No boxes and they weigh a ton so collection from Stoke on Trent
£750

FFS Steve, you're a bad man. I know you've read my thread on the other site;)

I've lost track of the sequence ... is it LV or Harbeth next? :D
FWIW, I had a similar pair a while back (from Steve, actually ), and my wife still asks why I sold them ... lovely, natural presentation. Excellent sound per pound value, especially with the stands.

I can't comment on this particular pair (except drool over their lovely dark finish as mine are in teak) but I have the same model from the same period but upgraded to SPX - meaning all internal wiring is audio notes top silver stuff - so comparisons might but not be realistic. But don't be fooled by the apparent simplicity or mundane appearance of these. With low or high powered valve amps they are utterly musical and transparent and have an honesty with timbre that's hard to beat.
Don't believe that they need corners to produce bass - twaddle. Don't believe that don't do bass, again twaddle. They can go down to close on 30hz - I've measured output at that level from mine.
If I was in the UK I'd grab these and upgrade the internal wiring.
Lovely.
