* Rules for reviewing albums *

Guys and gals,

When you volunteer to review an album for the Album Club you should do your utmost to honour that commitment, but if for whatever reason you can't, then you *must* inform either Barry, myself or one of the moderators, ASAP [well before the due date of the review], so that alternative arrangements can be made.

Failure to do so by any member [that is informing someone that you can't do the review before the due date], from today onwards, will result in one week's ban. The only way that the Album Club can function effectively is if folks do their utmost to carry out what they've promised, or in good time, advise us otherwise accordingly.

Therefore, before putting your name forward to write a review, please ensure that you're not just doing so on a whim, but rather ensuring as far as possible that on the due date you'll be able to carry it out.
