That wasn't my point, though. Joe said that there was more 'fuss', worldwide, made of the Pope than there was of the Queen. I agreed, and gave valid reasons for why that was the case.
Therefore, it's not about who's head of what, but who commands the most public attention overall, worldwide. And rightly so, that's the Pope.

I suspect the problem will be the roads being filled with little electric 'city cars', so the only way one could enjoy the performance of a Ferrari etc. would be under the artificial conditions of a race track.
I agree that both attitudes are abhorrent, but IMO, deliberately trying to stop someone bettering themselves, by directly or indirectly stifling their progress, particularly if you have some sort of control over them, is worse.
Simply looking down on someone is bad, as in the way some ignorant folk do with tramps, but in most instances won't stop anyone from bettering themselves.

Or simply live in somewhere like north or west Wales, or up in the north of Scotland, basically anywhere that's largely divorced from the control or restrictions of commercial life., and thus where the roads are largely empty.
Even if I live long enough for electric cars to become the norm, and I was still able to drive, I'd be the one going to the 'specialist shop' for some petrol, with which to fuel my combustion-engine car - no matter the cost.
Quite simply, some principles are worth defending!;)
