Granddaddy at The Albert Hall, Manchester. Back on form. Last time I saw them a few years ago and Jason Lytle looked like he didn't want to be there, but last night was a brilliant gig, in, I'll say it again, probably the best venue in the north west.

Its a great venue the Albert hall isn't it? Ive seen a few things there now and generally speaking to to be sitting as close to the front of the balcony up to somewhere. that way you get great view of the stage no one standing in front of you and decent sound too.

Hi Werner, hope you are well and nice to see you are still going to gigs :)
Last for me was Otis Gibbs in Newport 10 days ago, very entertaining.
No pictures as he asked people at the start of the show to enjoy the performance and immerse themselves in it, rather than their phones - bravo Otis.
Not updated for ages, but so far in 2017 I've seen;
Claire Martin
Robbie Cavanagh
Martha Wainwright
Mary Chapin Carpenter
Jarrod Dickenson
Rhiannon Giddens
Blackberry Smoke
John Prine (with Amanda Shires)
Steve Hackett
John Grant
Bill Callahan x 2
Andrew Combs
Ryley Walker
Emily Barker
Got a few festivals and lots more in the pipeline, so I'm still keeping busy on the live music front ;)
