Dust and grooves
Dating back to the midsixties my interest in listening to good music started with a reel-to-reel taperecorder from the German company Grundig. It was given me as a present for my confirmation.
Since then I´ve been a hunter for the best reproduction of sound. I believe I´ve been through more or less all possible ways of listening to music: Reel-to-reel, cassette player, turntable, cdplayer and minidisc.
I´ve come to the conclusion that listening to vinylrecords played on a turntable is what sounds best in my ears.
I´m the lucky owner of a stereosystem bought with my ears and not with my eyes. Ampilfiers from Rotel, turntable from Thorens with a Denon cartridge, cdplayer from Sony and speakers from B&W.
It is not high-end but the music is reproduced with a natural sound.
By the way I live in Denmark.

Welcome to AOS Niels -Joern. Your conclusion about vinyl is similar to my own, especially when listening to that beautiful Danish lady _ Agnes Obel!:)
