One of my faves. I could listen to Season of the Witch non stop.

An unusual find today in a local charity shop for a £5, and so far it is rather good. The band leader and guitarist, Ronnie Johnson, from Richmond(Surrey), his career has included working as a guitarist and musical director for Van Morrison from 1991 to 1998 as well as live and studio work with Peter Green, Joe Cocker and Leo Sayer.

Good choice Adrian.
A somewhat obscure album, not even on Discogs, I added it, so far it sounds rather good, purchased for the high price of £0.25 in a charity shop.
Well maybe obscure to me https://www.jazzwise.com/reviews/rev...-hour-of-pearl

To me it reads like Jack White's covers of these songs. But I was pleased to find they are the original songs by the original artists. I'd guess they are a selection of Jack's favourite songs, no other reason for his fizzog to be on the cover. Quite a nice compilation, though not the kind of thing I'd normally play. If Grant was still about I'd probably be posting it to him.
